I am really loving the turkey cranberry panini right now. It's a seasonal special so get it while they stay offer it. Plus, the winter blend coffee is good. Make sure to add cinnamon and nutmeg to the mix.

Chicken noodle soup: Had a sour bent to it. Not my favorite. Chicken salad on a thin bagel: Basically, a Waldorf chicken salad sandy. Decent enough. Sweeter than I'm used to.

their smoked salmon looks as if it came from a can, BUT it was good. nice outdoor seating area, puppy friendly, and a nice place to walk to.

I'm a New Yorker, so I'm particular about bagels. I feel like Einstein is as good as it will probably get here in Salt Lake. The bagels are fairly good; I like their flavored cream cheeses (e.g., strawberry & blueberry); and my favorite sandwich is the Tasty Turkey. MMMmmm...tasty turkey. So good. I've seen quite a few new additions for bagel sandwiches that I'll need to check out. This location is also convenient and well laid out.

Einsteins is awful. The cashier couldn't make correct change, the toasted bagel was cold and the coffee was burned. Yuck.

Well I'd like to think every coffee store that's in your neighborhood would be really convenient to your day but unfortunately they close at 5 o'clock and I barely even step foot in the place in some guy yells out "we're closed" well if your closed make sure to lock the doors silly.

Love this location of Einstein's. The staff is really friendly, there is outdoor seating as well as lots of indoor seating. On Mondays they have a fantastic deal of 13 bagels for $6. You can usually find me there on Mondays stocking up for the week.

mmm. I just had the most delicious bagel in recent memory. Spinach florentine, toasted, with Einstein's plain shmear. I will be back within a week, I am sure, just to eat that again. I don't ask too much of my bagel places. Just have good selection, friendly people (both employers and patrons), keep it quick when it comes to bagels, and keep it clean. This location is within walking distance of my casa. But if you're driving, it is one of the few businesses in the 15th & 15th neighborhood that has a designated parking lot. The restaurant is spacious with lots of options for bar seating or a communal table for groups of 8 people or less. The wall of East-facing windows let's all that glorious morning sun shine in. Employees are friendly and not overly talkative (which I appreciated this particular morning, as I was in between DMV appointments).

Manager was late, and we had to wait for him to get the till set up. Tasty bagels and nice staff but the manager clearly was up too early.

I remember when Brackman Brothers was the best option for local bagels. Then Einstein's came in and bought Brackman out. Then they popped up in the best locations in town. The bagels: sadly they are the best you can get in this town. There's no H&H or Noah's (both better bagel chains) here unfortunately. SLC does not have the right cultural influence necessary to make bagels that have the proper density and flavor anyway. I believe this is why bagels taste better on the East Coast--they are more culturally relevant there. Typical Utah bagels are way too large and way too bread-like. Einstein's bagels are middle of the road at best. The size seems right, but the density varies wildly. Also, the bagels sometimes seem under cooked to me. They are miles better than supermarket bagels, but miles away from something like Zabar's or H&H in Manhattan. The scene: the 15th & 15th Einstein's can be a little trendy. They get their share of the latest plague on mankind--the hipster. There's nothing like watching people walk around dressed in irony. I wonder if they like some sort of retro bagel. Is there a Member's Only bagel? Maybe American Apparel makes a skimpy, organic bagel. Anyway...this Einstein's does get a mix of 15th&15th landed gentry, hipster douchebags, and various other local dignitaries. It's a great place for your dog to hook up with his facebook friends too. One last comment on the food: Einstein's stopped carrying onion bagels. Onion bagels are the great standard bearer of a bagel's highest purpose: lox, onions, cream cheese, and ONION BAGEL. The counter guy encouraged me to complain to their 800 number. He said that is why they brought hummus back. It's hard to argue with a chain that isn't even that good to begin with.

I really like this place. The mini Challah is a strange homage to the ambiguously Jewish image of Einstein bagels. I don't plan on eating them, but still, I'm amused AND impressed. What makes this place great? I've lived on the east coast, and this satisfies me in a way that Brueger's Bagels never could. The bagels are at Einstein's are very good, and I could get a delicious bagel sandwich with egg, cheddar and tomato. They also have bottomless iced tea. I wish they didn't sweeten the tea, but other than that i couldn't think of a better comfort food combo.
